RED Spy TF2 by Elita-01 RED Spy TF2 by Elita-01
I think I MUCH prefer the composition to this photo as opposed to the one with my face actually in it.

Yeah! It was an old briefcase I painted blue and added all the gadgets to it.
Thank you!

The code input set on the briefcase looks quite elaborate :omg: ...
I really admire your work and devotion at cosplaying, it amazes me

I found all the buttons/switches at an electronic store for cheap and made the rolling counter out of insulation foam and a number sticker set from the dollar store which was all stuck on a painted/carved piece of insulation foam. I'm glad it looks elaborate though!

Thank you! I work pretty hard on my stuff, I'm hoping to finish my mom's Heavy cosplay this summer but the minigun is proving really REALLY hard to build.

Ooooh wow; your mum is actually cosplaying Heavy alongside with you!?! :la:
That sounds just brilliant! And yes the Minigun will be a tough affair, maybe work out something with polystyrene, plumbing pipes and a large cylindric plastic can for the bullet holder like on Sasha. :plotting:

But I'm sure you will be able to do it fine, you are so good at crafting costumes and props! :eager:
I would really like to see the photos of the outcome of the conference! :w00t:

Yeah I was thinking of plumbing for a lot of the parts, it's the bullet drum that's got me a bit stumped, trying to find something that's close...bah, I'm sure I'll figure something out.
Yeah! My mom and I are going as heavy and medic this summer, she seems really excited, she loved all the Meet The Team videos I showed her and Heavy was her favourite.

Thanks for the vote of confidence! I hope to get lots of good pictures of us

I'm really looking foward to see how the cosplaying will turn out :excited:
I like to hear about mothers being into the same fanworld (even if partially) as their kids :happycry: It just makes the world go round~

I think the colors work well for it - the blue suitcase contrasted against your red suit. Maybe that's why it works as well as it does. Even so, I think your face in the Spy costume looked pretty. :)
